The Plasticos Foundation has been invited to Armenia by representatives of their educational and health care representatives to colaborate with their medical providers to improve care to children with clefts and other birth deformities.

We will be conducting a site visit with the purpose of bringing a team to Armenia that will work with the local doctors and nurses to provide this care.  We will determine what educational needs will enhance the existing knowledge base of  Armenian team members.  We will determine financial needs and restrictions contributing to problems in distribution of health care.  We will see what surgical and medical equipment we can provide to help these doctors better treat their children.  We will visit their clinics , hospitals and surgical facilities  to understand what the existing conditions are for providing surgical care and the ways in which we can help to improve this infrastructure.
